Plot:
Kaala follows the story of Karikaalan (played by Rajinikanth), a powerful leader and protector of the people in the Dharavi slums of Mumbai. When a corrupt politician and land mafia don, Hari Dada (Nana Patekar), tries to evict the slum dwellers under the pretext of development, Kaala rises to challenge him. The film is a gritty battle between justice and exploitation, symbolizing the resistance of the oppressed against systemic power.
